Anne Sabourin, BScN, RN
Anne has been caring for newborn parents at the Royal Victoria
Hospital for over 20 years. She is a dynamic and captivating
teacher who can focus on what is important to expectant parents
from a compassionate human perspective.
A tenured delivery room and surgical baccalaureate
nurse, Anne has been involved in some of the most important
pre-term and multiple birth deliveries in the history of McGill
Teaching Hospitals including the birth of individual twins
successfully born 39 days apart and children born at 24 weeks
gestation.
Anne's caring approach, practical experience,
gentle touch and glowing smile have won the hearts and praise
of hundreds of parents over the years. Anne pioneered telephone
support for expectant parents in Quebec when she hosted Info
Grossess which was the two-year pilot project leading to the
current Info Santé system in Quebec.
When Anne is not working or taking care of
her 3 teenaged children, she enjoys painting, cooking and
gardening.
